Our Purpose, as the First General Baptist Church of Oakland City, is to do God's Will in our community and in our world.  Through constant outreach faithful Christian living, inspirational worship, fervent prayer, caring benevolence, motivational teaching and loving fellowship, we expect God to bless so that people are won to Christ, and find their place of service in the Church and in the world.
